Yes. Our care is normally charged by the hour. However, there are several methods of acquiring funding for your care from the NHS and local councils. This is means tested and can fully or partially fund your care requirements. We can advise on how to get started with the process.
All of our staff have a full criminal records check via the DBS system. Furthermore, we provide full training to ensure they meet our strict standards of care. We ensure standards are maintained by ongoing regular checks of our staff on the job. These are unannounced visits. There are also other policies to protect clients such as ‘whistle-blowing’ for protection of vulnerable adults. Our staff are all aware of these policies.
We can call out to your home and do an assessment to gather all of your needs. We can discuss with the client and/or the family members how we can meet your requirements, what the options are and what the costs will be. Every client we work with has specific needs of some kind so this is nothing new to us and we are very experienced with personalising your care.

We are constantly recruiting for care assistants on a full and part-time basis. We have day and evening shifts as we provide care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please send a covering email and CV to careers@dovetailcare.co.uk and our recruitment lead will respond within 24 hours.
We have regular communication with family members as and when required to manage the care package alongside family support. So we are often in communication with the family. We also maintain a client care plan at the home of the client and this contains records for every single visit our care assistants perform for our own use and also the families use.
